If the Cinderella’s story was set in the Present time period, everything would change.

Firstly. Cinderella wouldn’t reach in a carriage but in a limousine, and her dress would be tighter.

On the other hand, the guests wouldn’t be so shocked at the Cinderella’s arrival. It would be a normal event.

Likewise, the music would be played by a device. The architecture wouldn’t be so detailed. The reception wouldn’t be in a palace but in a large room.
I also consider, Cinderella and the Prince would need to see each other many times again to fall in love.
